I grew up in church all my life and knew many things about being a Christian. I memorized Bible verses and went to every event the church had. I acted like a Christian and was a pretty good person, but I was missing the one thing that would change my life forever and give me purpose.
I admitted to God that I was a sinner. I confessed that I beleived in Him and that He sent His son to die for my sins. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” I asked Him to be the Lord and Savior of my life. Romans 10:9 says, “If you confess with you mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead.”
Now I am going to Southeastern Baptist College at Wake Forest, trying to follow God in everything I do. I’m not sure everything that it involves, but I am preparing for my call. He has a plan for me and he has a plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
