The more things I did the more I realized something was missing in my life. I grew up in a “Christian” home. I always believed there was a God but that was the extent of it. In my late teens I began to attend church and was a good person, never missing a church service or activity. I finally realized what I was missing was peace, I was trying to find fulfillment in doing the right things and being good.
At this realization I got real honest with God and for the first time let go of my religion and embrace the love and relationship that Jesus offered. For the first time I knew what it was like to experience the peace of God.
That peace of God guarded me when I was diagnosed with Leukemia a few years ago. From the moment the doctor told me I had cancer I felt God’s peace. Even when the chemotherapy had no effect I was filled with peace and trust that God was in control. 7 days after being told the chemo didn’t work and I would need a bone marrow transplant I received a miraculous healing and have been cancer free ever since.
