I was born into a Christian family, did the right things when people were looking and for more than 30 years assumed I had things taken care of.
I knew that I needed something more, but it took a while before I realized that what I needed was Jesus.
I was raised as a Roman Catholic until the age of eight when my parents separated and I went to live with relatives and eventually with my grandparents.
Although I grew up in a home where church attendance was the norm, I came to realize that being in church does not automatically make you a Christian.
During the church worship service the following Sunday night, I realized my rebellious nature and my deep need for Christ.
