A Police officer kept inviting me to church and talking to me about having a personal relationship with Jesus.
“In my life before Christ, I knew of the Lord, but I did not know him personally. I sinned and lied and did not obey others and the Lord.
I became a “Christian” when I was 9 years old but never really got involved in church…
Why am I here? What is the purpose of life? These are questions that were echoing over and over again in my mind.
They asked, “Do you know for certain that you have eternal life and that you will go to heaven when you die?” My response was, “I’m not sure.”
I grew up on a small farm in Kentucky, and we were regularly in church Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
I came to know that I needed Jesus at a young age and asked Him to forgive me of my sins.
One thing is for sure in this day and age; life is uncertain.
I thought I was having fun but there was an empty void in me.
I remember walking out of church that evening with my family and I knew that something was different.
