The Holy Spirit nudged my heart and led me to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 5. I knew that I loved Jesus more than anything else and that when I died I wanted to go to Heaven. While still young I heard a sermon on the wheat and tares which with my understanding at the time terrified me and led me to question my salvation. Though, I continued to pray and read the Bible I felt no connection. I yearned to feel God there and my doubt ate at me daily.
My freshmen and sophomore years of college were the loneliest I have yet to experience, until my life was changed. God revealed himself to me and allowed me to see that I have a friend in him. He bombarded me with sermons and bible studies dealing with doubt. He helped to understand that all Christians have doubt at times and that if I was not saved I would not be worrying daily about my salvation. He showed me Mark 9:23-24, which taught me that I could pray for help with my doubt.

Now I have the joy of a wonderful relationship with my Father which continues to grow daily. I have now been able to look back over my childhood and see that he was always there beautifully orchestrating my life. I now have full assurance and a story of conquering doubt that God is using to allow me to share with others dealing with doubt. I am excited to share my story and ready and willing to follow wherever He calls.

There’s more to life than breathing and feeling – Real life is only found in Jesus Christ.
