Before I met Jesus Christ, I thought that I was a pretty good person and I knew all the right answers about God and how He sent His Son, Jesus, to save the world from their sins. The only problem was, I thought I couldn’t get to God on my own by trying to live a good life and do all of the right things. I was living my life as if I were the one in control.

Then I realized that I was a sinner, and though I had never done drugs, murdered anyone, or lived a life of crime, I still was a sinner in need of a Savior (Romans 3:23). I knew that I could not live a fulfilling life on my own (Romans 6:23). When I gave Jesus Christ control and made Him the boss, my life then had meaning and purpose.

My life after Christ has been an adventure, and I am sold out for Jesus Christ. I want my life to bring HIM honor and glory, and I want everyone around me to experience the lasting peace and joy that I have found. I know that it is not through my own power (Ephesians 2:8-9), but through Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross that I am saved (Romans 10:9-10).

There’s more to life than breathing and feeling – Real life is only found in Jesus Christ.
