Imuseoluwa Adeola Obembe

I was born into a Christian home. My dad was a pastor, and my mum served in church as well. As a young smart kid, I participated in church activities, attended Sunday School, sang in the children choir, memorized bible verses, and represented the church in bible trivias and quizzes, but I did not have a personal revelation and encounter with Jesus as the Saviour and Lord of my life. I was so religious but I was not saved.

“I was so religious but I was not saved.”

When i was 11 years old, my family and I went for a camp meeting, and that was where I encountered the God of my salvation. The preacher made an altar call and I ran in tears to the altar to surrender my life to Christ. I found peace with God. Joy flooded my soul.

It’s been 6 years now, and God is working in me. My passion and love for God has grown in a way I could never imagine. I will not say I have been perfect all the way but the God who holds the universe, is the God that holds my hands, leading me in the path of righteousness. I am a Nigerian but I am in the U.S to study. It is my goal to reach out to people, and affect every life, especially youths, with a passion and love for God.
“Oh the overwhelming, never ending, reckless love of God”

There’s more to life than breathing and feeling – Real life is only found in Jesus Christ.
