Julia Clark

I was born in a christian home. My dad was a pastor, my mom, brother, and sister were very faithful to church. I “thought” I came to know the Lord when I was 7 yrs old, in Summertown TN.I did that just because I thought I had to, I guess I thought people expected me to do that sooner or later! But later on it was nothing to me anymore (I just didn’t care). It wasn’t my real decision! I thought it was at the time but it wasn’t!!

So we ended up moving to East Tennessee, because my dad got called to a different church. It was SO difficult for me (a huge change)! About a couple years later after we moved. We had a revival at my church (Cherry Grove Baptist) and I started to feel convicted. I was just sitting in the seat, and I remember this one thing that the pastor said that caught my attention. He said “You never know when it’s your time to go. You could die in a car accident, tonight on the way home!!”

“Do you know if you will go to heaven or hell”? It was killing me; I just wanted get out of there! But something was holding me back …telling me to STAY, just knocking on my heart, I didn’t want to answer. I was afraid of what would happen. But finally ….I just broke down in my seat. I was 10 years old and my dad led me to the Lord!!! It felt GREAT and then it started dying down. I have always felt convicted and on March 27, 2011 I repented completely turned over to GOD.

There’s more to life than breathing and feeling – Real life is only found in Jesus Christ.
