As a child, I understood the basics about life. It wasn’t until my early 20’s when I realized that it was time for me to decide what I believed. Should I stick to what I grew up with, or look for some alternative religion like that of my generation? After rationalizing my way into several different belief systems, one thing became clear. The God I had met as a child is still real. His word is true. He still loves me and offers forgiveness.

As I slowly learn more about Him, I experience a sense of confidence that comes from knowing that there is nothing that can happen to me to change my destination of heaven. Of course I have day-to-day challenges, and plenty of my own mistakes to deal with, but I no longer have to strive to be good enough for God. He said, “Come as you are”, and I did.

There’s more to life than breathing and feeling – Real life is only found in Jesus Christ.
