Justin Lindsey

Before knowing Jesus Christ, my life was simple. I was a church going kid in a church going family. I grew up my entire life in church. My parents were very involved and even taught Sunday School. When I was younger, the most important thing about church to me was the pictures I drew on the back of the bulletin or what friend I got to sit with that week. I was a good kid from a good family, and I just didn’t realize the need or the emptiness in my life at all.
I was 10 years old, sitting at Vacation Bible School one morning, we sang the normal goofy songs as we did every morning, and then the pastor got up to speak. For some reason that morning I really listened to what the pastor said. I could just tell there was something wrong, and that there was something I needed to do. It was that morning that I pulled one of the leaders aside and was given the opportunity to ask Jesus Christ into my heart.

I was always a good person before I met God personally, and I stayed a good person after allowing Him into my life. The biggest effect God has had on my life since then is just the guidance He shows to me each and every day. I have just really allowed Him to take control and to show me His power and it is AMAZING! He is my everything, and without Him I would be nothing.

There’s more to life than breathing and feeling – Real life is only found in Jesus Christ.
