Terrell Suggs

I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, not materially but spiritually. I had the fantastic privilege of being born in a spiritually wealthy family. My Dad and Mom were both Christians and saw to it that my brothers and I received early Christian training. We were very involved in a great church. Even as a small child, I learned about the gospel of Jesus Christ and His power to save.
Even though I was active in my church, I knew the church could not save me. Through the influence of my family and strong biblical teaching and preaching I was drawn to Christ and saved as a child. It took a long time for me to develop a close personal relationship with Christ. There have been many struggles and doubts along the way. However, the Lord, in His gracious love, has carried me along.

Following Christ is the supreme joy of my life. I am so excited to be a part of His kingdom work. Early in life I learned why I am here and where I’m going. I’ve truly discovered the most important thing. I remain a very wealthy man spiritually and will be throughout all eternity, thanks to God’s sovereign grace.

There’s more to life than breathing and feeling – Real life is only found in Jesus Christ.
